SAMPLING
AUGER OUTFIT BLADE TYPE : POST HOLE TYPE
Two types of augers are available. Blade type Post Hole Augers / and screw
type. These are available in different sizes. The samples collected from
the Auger are used for sampling soil in preliminary survey and especially
for agricultural soil testing. Their light weight makes them easy to handle
in any type of terrain.
It consists of a auger head, one rod mtr. long, Tee piece one tubular
handle.

OUTFIT FOR 1.5" or 38mm DIAMETER SPECIMEN
For collecting undisturbed samples of 38mm dia from borrow pits or from
larger samples for unconfined compression test or Triaxial Shear Test.
It consists of sample extractor, screw type with a wire sample trimmer
jarring link for driving the sample tube of 38mm dia. Adaptor with locking
screw for fitting the 38mm dia sampling tubes to sample extractor. Split
mould 38mm dia X 88mm long, provided with quick release clamps.

OUTFIT LARGE
For collecting undisturbed samples of soil at different depths. The kit
in-cludes all necessary implements for boring, driving Samplers too can
be con-nected to heavy duty extension rods. The outfit in conjunction
with the samplers, can be used to collect undisturbed samples to a depth
of 6 meters. If the site condition permits, the depth of operation 6an
be increased by adding extra extension rods. |
